Communities Together Inc. (CTI) is a 501 c3 organization that partners with the management in your building to set up events and opportunities for community members of all ages. We provide a unique variety of activities in both multi-family communities and senior communities so that you can stay engaged with your neighbors, make new connections, access important resources, and learn skills and hobbies!

Transportation and Recreation Resources
Maryland Directory of Farmers Markets
One of the best ways to nourish your body AND support small business is by consuming fresh foods from local farmers. Maryland has a wealth of delicious produce grown that is ready for your snacks and suppers. Check out the State's own directory here.
Metro Train and Bus Services
The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority offers local train, bus, and even van services. Senior citizens are eligible for a reduced-fare pass. To learn more about reduced fare, find out about closures, and explore routes, check out the Washington Metropolitan Transit Authority website.
Montgomery County Library System
Montgomery County is home to more than 20 public libraries, each with their own unique services and collections. To find the closest location to you, learn how to get a library card, and get information about events at the library, visit the MC libraries website.
Montgomery County Department of Recreation
The Dept. of Recreation offers a multitude of opportunities for Montgomery County residents of all ages - children to seniors - ranging from exercise classes to day trips to summer camps! Prince George's County Memorial Library System
The PG County Memorial Library System is a network of 19 branch libraries, but it provides so much more than just books. With a 24/7 online library, book discussions, and more, PGCMLS is designed for everyone.
Smithsonian Museums
One of the best amenities of living in the DC area is the coveted (and free) access to the famous collection of Smithsonian Museums. With 17 museums, galleries, and even a zoo, there is always something new to try! Check out the Smithsonian website to get more information about the collection.
Senior Planet
Senior Planet is an organization run by AARP to connect seniors to interesting classes, new friends, and a world of interesting topics. Senior Planet hosts events in person and holds classes online. Senior Planet has a chapter in Montgomery County, but seniors can join online classes from anywhere! Find more information here.
