Communities Together Inc. (CTI) is a 501 c3 organization that partners with the management in your building to set up events and opportunities for community members of all ages. We provide a unique variety of activities in both multi-family communities and senior communities so that you can stay engaged with your neighbors, make new connections, access important resources, and learn skills and hobbies!

The Full Story
About
The Mercaditos effort is much more than a little market. This project is a year-round intensive entrepreneurship program that bridges the gap between Spanish-speaking community residents, the Communities Together team, community members, and partners in our community.

At the beginning of the Mercaditos cycle, the most recent of which began in early 2022, candidates from a collection of CTI communities apply to participate in the program. A small group of qualified community members are selected. Over several months, the selected Mercaditos participants complete a comprehensive training in finance and small business management, preparing them to run their own mercaditos throughout the summer and fall. Each participant brings their own product to the group - artistic talent, culinary knowhow, and upcycling thrifty skill are just the beginning.
